One of my favorite shows on Cartoon Network is the Venture Bros! I am in their panel right now with Doc Hammer (writer and many of the voices on the show) and Dana Snider (voice on the show and Master Shake from ATHF). They are SO crazy! It is so hard to not fall out of the chair listening to these guys just ramble on.
Oh lord, I drank way to much last night. We were all enjoying ourselves around the bar last night, having copious amounts of island themed libations. Things were going pretty good up to the point that Jim left. Or I suppose until he left his barely touched Fog Cutter drink.
Of course its a sin to throw out alcohol, so i volunteered to take care of it for him. I suppose that wasn’t a bad thing up to the point where Kevin started ‘chug, chug, chug’. Ugg, I got brain freeze from downing that huge drink.
So, needless to say I was tanked! Stumbled upstairs and right to bed. This morning everything is fine, little upset stomach is about all. Jim was sure to point out that he had only seen me that trashed once before, and that was the night we got slipped a mickey at the bar.
Ahhh, the sure sign your at a convention….The lines!
Registration is hellish as normal, but we made it through wthout to much trouble. And with ay good con line comes one of my favorite activites, people watching.
Today is the beginning of my yearly pilgrimage to Dragon*Con. Since I moved to the east coast I have headed to Atlanta each year for the Labor Day weekend. Its a great time where 40,000 of my closest friends get together to get their nerd on.
Typically me, Jim and various others road trip down from VA. This year, due to my trip to Seattle next week, I decided to fly and just fly out from Atlanta afterward.
This was my first time flying AirTran, I think the jury is still out as to what I think of them. I have to admit that this was the first airplane I have ever seen with an ‘Oh Sh*t Bar’!

The cat is bemused, scared, angry and playful with the new Roomba. If my remote only controlled its movements rather than just when it does its cycle, i could have a lot more fun with the cat.
