Okay, calming down now that I am home. As you might be able to tell, I am a tad excited today. Today I met Samantha Brown, host of many shows on the Travel Channel. She is in my opinion one of the best travel hosts (and all around cool people) alive. I don’t want to wax to much, and while I tend to meet many celebrities in my travels, she is one of the very few that not only did I want my photo with, but I was speechless to talk too.
I think I need a cool wet cloth for my forehead and to lay down for a bit…sigh…
The morning has started off well with an early commute into DC. Next it was a short walk to the Boltbus stop near Gallery Place. Surprisingly I was not the first person at the stop. I tend to always over estimate how long it takes to get into DC thus am habitualiusly early. Right before the bus showed up I saw Allison and Joshua approaching. I didn’t recognize Allison at first due to her being completely enveloped in winter clothing all but her eyes. Joshua on the other hand had his huge beard going on so I knew who they were. We are now on the bus heading to New York Comic-Con. The driver gave us a rather humorous explanation of the rules then about half fell asleep. His name is Kevin, not ‘Hey Busdriver’ by the way.
