This was just constructed last year and was apparently partially financed by Tom Hanks. It may become my favorite memorial, just due to the design. [...]]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I can&#8217;t say just how perfect today is. It&#8217;s warm but there is a nice cool breeze so you really don&#8217;t notice.<br />
So here I am at the WW2 memorial. This was just constructed last year and was apparently partially financed by Tom Hanks. It may become my favorite memorial, just due to the design. Although it does fill up with people very fast and today there are a ton of kids here. I wonder if this will drift off into vague memory like the cival war sites. Most of the WW2 survivors are getting very old. And soon enough, even their kids will be gone.</p>

Today I will venture around the tidal basin since I haven&#8217;t spent much time there.</p>
